About Andrew Beveridge

Silver Birch Photography specialising in Wedding Photography and is based in Bridgend, South Wales.

Photographer Andrew Beveridge makes it his goal to capture all the wonderful and timeless moments of your wedding day! His style described as mainly hands-off wedding photo journalism – anticipating and capturing the moments instead of orchestrating them, but his background in art and design and classic portraiture also come into play for those special portraits with the ultimate goal to create a unique and elegant story of your wedding day.

With a quiet and unobtrusive approach, Andrew Beveridge provides direction only when needed; allowing you to enjoy the spontaneous moments of your wedding day. Paying close attention to the details of your wedding; those elements you’ve worked hard on to make the wedding uniquely your own. Rings, jewellery, your makeup and hair, flowers, table settings, decorations, favors and gifts, all the things that set your day apart and are so often overlooked in photo coverage.

Wedding at Tedegar House

I have been a member of the UK based SWPP for sometime and agree that membership is well worth the £99.00 per year. I realise that opinions on photography, as well as any other art form, are subjective, but my personal belief is that the majority of clients that I meet prefer my documentary (photojournalistic) images other than the more staged (posed) examples.
I regularly enter the SWPP image competitions and over the last few months have gained numerous awards in the various wedding categories but really would like to enter more photojournalistic wedding images to a body that specialises in this subject matter.

Therefore I have just applied to join the WPJA as I feel that this organisation more befits my photojournalistic style.

I will continue my membership with the SWPP as I still believe that for traditional and classic wedding photography then it is still the best organisation available but look forward to how my WPJA membership application will unfold. I have recently uploaded a new website that contains a few of my reportage shots – to view please click the link below.
